"I had high hopes for these guys, but in the end..."
I really wanted to love these guys, but unfortunately, I had a bad experience overall. Their website is great, but it's a bit misleading because their customer service is really not good. I reached out to them about the lobster tails we ordered over a week ago, and I still haven't heard back from them.
We don't mind paying for high-quality products, and we wanted to support these two brothers who provide their own lobster. However, they were terrible. I'm a chef, so I know how to cook, and let me tell you, those lobster tails were inedible. They were mushy, so we ended up throwing them out.
The wagyu beef they sent had more hard fat than the delicious marbling that melts in your mouth. It was very disappointing, especially considering the price we paid.
The ground meat was decent for our burgers, but overall, if you don't care about your customers, you're likely to lose them. We haven't tried the shrimp and chicken yet, but at this point, I'm not feeling hopeful. The worst part is that it's clear that even if we had a problem with our purchases, Crowd Cow wouldn't care.

"The shrimp here is really old and it's impossible to get in touch with a real person."
It is extremely frustrating that you can never speak to a real person when dealing with this company. This fact alone is irritating. I had numerous questions and noticed that they offered Mexican blue wild caught shrimp, so I thought it would be an easy purchase. I received a $100 gift card and had to add a few more bags to qualify for free shipping. Growing up in the southwest and frequently visiting Puerto Penasco, I have been eating this type of shrimp for years. However, the shrimp they sent me was freezer burnt and lacked flavor. It wasn't until I checked the package that I realized it was over a year old. This deceitful company sold me a product that had been frozen for over a year, which explains why it tasted so bland. Their actions are criminal, fraudulent, and truly appalling, reflecting the poor quality of their service. I believe I deserve a full refund as they falsely claim that their product is of high quality when it is quite the opposite.

"The quality of these high-end meats is absolutely incredible."
I received a box as a gift and everything was well packed in an insulated box. I left the box open for a few hours before I could store everything in the refrigerator, and everything was still perfectly frozen. The box contained two grass-fed filets, two Angus NY strips, two lobster tails, a bag of scallops, four bags of wild shrimp, and two A5 Wagyu sirloins.
Initially, I had planned to grill the A5 Wagyu steaks, but I discovered that they should not be cooked on a grill. Instead, they are meant to be cut into small pieces and seared on a stainless steel pan. I decided to save this for a more special occasion.
Instead, I grilled a filet, a NY strip, the lobster tails, and the shrimp for a family "surf and turf" dinner. It turned out really well. Even my kids, who usually don't eat meat, loved the NY strip, and my wife enjoyed both steaks. I am eagerly looking forward to trying the A5 Wagyu in a few weeks!

"The meat is fresh, succulent, and bursting with juiciness."
I bought the bone-in pork chops and bone-in rib eye steaks for a family gathering, and let me tell you, it was some of the best meat I have ever cooked. The tenderness was outstanding, and once I seasoned and sauced it up, it became incredibly delicious. The meat was fresh and we could truly savor the juicy flavors. On top of that, the delivery was super fast. Overall, the service and product were excellent.
